Website Design & Development

Website Design is like walking a tightrope, it can truly amaze you, but like walking the rope, it can be impacted by variables you can't control...like people's tastes. Our philosophy is to create an appropriate design that you truly like, but that is right for your audience. We believe that the user experience is a combination of design and functionality. If you get them both right, everyone wins.

Like we have always heard, but is so true, you only have one chance to make that first impression. So in that respect, design is very important. But soon after they are impressed, their tastes change, and are more geared towards finding what they need and being impressed with the information presentation.

Information Architecture

Presenting information where and why is a part of Information Architecture, which is arguably the most important part of a website. Our approach to design is to first start with identifying what information we are going to present, why we are presenting it and where. Before any design is started, we create an outline of what items are going be place on a page, called a wireframe, and then we give that to the designer. This wireframe is a guideline as to what to design around. Without this, it's like the tail wagging the dog.

Website Development

After we have come up with our design masterpiece, we then can start building this into a coded template that is used for your web pages. Each template is built adhering to strict XHTML compliance, using CSS. Then using our Content Management System, called TruSuite, we build out the website by creating all the directories, pages within each directory, add the content for each of these page and then finally add each page to a menu. After crossing all t's and dotting all i's, we have a well crafted website that not only you are happy with, but the users get incredible value from.
