Ten Steps to Increase Your Website Traffic

  1. Create a focused set of keywords and keyword phrases for each page of your site.
  2. Insert important keywords in any and all links back to your site.
  3. The first 100 or so words on your webpage should be keyword rich and be relevant to the page content.
  4. Put most important keywords or keyword phrase in the page header and at the beginning preferably.
  5. Make sure to insert most important keywords in the page title and description meta tags (less is more in meta keywords).
  6. Make sure your website is easy to navigate and that it is easy to find your products and/or services.

  8. Add a blog, which will not only help increase content, but will allow your audience to interact and give them a reason to return.
  9. Locate relevant web forums and interact with them identifying your website. Getting links to your website is critical.
  10. Build trust with your audience by prominently displaying contact information and company bios with pictures. They will feel more comfortable knowing who they are dealing with.
