Content Management Systems

Maintaining your website involves many different tasks; updating old information, adding new information, adding new pages, adding pictures, managing menus, etc. This can be a very difficult process which often gets passed up, when you don't have an easy way to do it. That's where Content Management Systems come into play. A Content Management System, commonly referred to as a "CMS", is an application that your website integrates with that allows you to manage all the facets of your website in a very easy-to-use environment.

If you have read our page on Search Engine Optimization you'll remember that the best way to rank well for lots of different keywords is to have lots of content. There is a direct correlation between the amount of keywords you rank well with and the amount of pages you have. It is difficult to rank well with very many keywords with, say, only 3 pages of content on your website, but imagine how well you could do with 300. It would extremely cumbersome and difficult to create the amout of content you need to without a Content Management System.
